Great value for the money spent, with spacious, clean, and comfortable rooms. The location in a nice Brooklyn neighborhood was convenient for exploring different types of restaurants, and the nearby subway made getting into Manhattan a breeze. The live jazz on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays was a delightful and unique experience, adding charm and history to my stay. The hosts, Debbie and Eric, were friendly, warm, and gracious.

Breakfast offerings could have been improved with a greater variety of options.

The hosts, Debbie and Eric, were incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. Plus, the live jazz concerts on Fridays and Saturdays added a special touch to my trip.

Tastefully appointed and comfortable room. Friendly and accommodating host, Debbie. Historic jazz club within the premises. Knowledgeable and friendly MC, Eric. Great location in Brooklyn. The location of the B&B is ideal for those looking to explore the Brooklyn Museum and attend local events, such as those organized by nearby churches. There are also plenty of restaurants in the neighborhood to enjoy. The rooms are filled with authentic charm and decor, providing a unique and comfortable stay. Additionally, the B&B is conveniently located on the "A" subway line, making it easy to explore the city.

There were some issues with the cleanliness of the rooms and the lack of attention from the owner.

Sankofa Aban Bnb was totally worth it! The room was spacious, clean, and super comfy. The location was amazing, just a short walk to the A Train along a beautiful brownstone street. The live jazz show on Saturday night was absolutely awesome, and Debby, the host, made the stay so much fun. We'll definitely be back!

The breakfast offerings could have been better if it was included in the reservation and there were more options to choose from.

Overall I highly recommend this hotel.
